A lien charge on your storage unit is just a way to make sure everyone's on the same page. If, for any reason, the rent isn't paid, it gives them the right to take necessary steps to cover their costs, like selling or disposing of items. It's a safety net to keep things fair and running smoothly for everyone. This fee is $60
An auction fee on a storage unit is a charge imposed when a storage unit goes up for auction. It's the cost associated with participating in the auction process, and it helps cover the expenses incurred by the website in managing and facilitating the auction. This fee is $100.
A unique numerical code that grants the renter access to the facility and/or their storage unit. Each code is unique for every customer.
A promotional offer or discount provided to a customer when they initially rent a storage unit.
Rent is always due on the 1st of every month. Payments are month to month.
Our late fee is added when the account is 5 days past due, which is the 6th of the month. This fee is $15 or 15% of your rent, whichever is greater.
The lien fee is added when the account is 15 days past due, which is the 16th of the month. This fee is $60.
The auction fee is added when the account is 27 days past due, which is the 28th of the month. This fee is $100.
Protection plan coverage is required by all customers. A protection plan at a self-storage facility is like a safety net for your belongings. While the facility takes great care of the units, unforeseen events like accidents or natural disasters can happen. The protection plan provides coverage for potential damage or loss, giving you peace of mind and financial protection. We have 3 options for coverage, and they are:
$12/month for up to $2000 coverage.
$14/month for up to $3000 coverage.
$24/month for up to $5000 coverage.
Customers are welcome to use their own insurance plan, but they must make sure that there is always an updated copy on file. We recommend our protection plan as it is specifically designed for storage. Make sure you contact your insurance provider to make sure they will cover your unit.
We require a 5-day notice when customers are ready to vacate. Once we are notified of that move out date, we will schedule that in our system and send you move out instructions. Following the move out instructions results in customers sending us an image of the cleaned out unit, and that is how we will process your move out. If we do not receive an image of the cleaned out unit by the scheduled move out date, we will not have a way to confirm the move out, so the move out confirmation will be delayed.
When you are ready to vacate, please follow these instructions:
-Remove lock & key from the unit.
-Sweep out the unit after vacating.
-Place lock & key on the inside of the cleaned unit.
-Take a picture of the cleaned unit, with the unit number showing.
-Send us the pictures of the cleaned-out unit, and we will process your move out ASAP.

Don't worry! Text ‘GATE’ to (919)-371-2332 to have your gate code sent to you. If you call our office, a manager can look up your gate code. If you lose your key, we will have to cut your lock and replace it with a new one, as we do not keep any copies of keys for customers' units. This would be an additional $75 fee, as it takes time & labor to cut the lock, and to cover the cost of a new lock. Contact our office, and we'll assist you in regaining access to your storage unit.
